In this Returns Policy, the expressions “LG”, “we”, “us” and “our” are a reference to Lumière Gems (Australia) ABN: 46 916 801 329
Items must be returned to us for assessment to deem if the item is faulty.
“Faulty” refers to a defect in the design or manufacturing process that renders the item unfit for intended use, of unacceptable quality or not matching the advertised description of the item. This is in accordance with the ACCC’s Consumer Guarantees. Please refer to their website for more information.
- If the item is deemed as faulty, customers are entitled to have their item repaired, in accordance with your rights under Australian Consumer Law. Faulty items may also be replaced, or the purchase price refunded at our discretion.
- If the item is deemed as not faulty, it will be returned to the customer at their own expense or surrendered to LG for recycling or disposal.
- Damage from general wear and tear does not constitute a fault and will not be considered for repair, replacement or refund.
Lumière Gems does not permit returns for Change of Mind due to hygiene reasons.
All orders are final.
Custom design orders are subject to a 50% non-refundable deposit to be paid prior to the commencement of the manufacturing stage. The remaining balance must be paid prior to shipping.
Custom orders will not be refunded or cancelled unless deemed faulty, however LG may offer to on-sell on behalf of the customer. This will be assessed on a case-by-case basis and is at the discretion of LG.
How to return your items
You can return your items via post to Lumiere Gems, PO Box 1143, Gwelup WA 6018. Please ensure you include a printed copy of your online tax invoice / order fulfilment email. Please contact our Customer Care team on info@lumieregems.com.au to initiate a return.
If you need to return your items:
- all shipping return charges must be pre-paid. We do not accept C.O.D (cash on delivery) deliveries.
- you are responsible for any loss or damage to the item until it is delivered to us.
- We highly recommend returned items are insured during delivery (such as Australia Post ‘Extra Cover’) to safeguard against loss.
- You must include a copy of your completed Returns paperwork within the package and ship the return package to: Lumiere Gems, PO Box 1143, Gwelup WA 6018.
- we will not refund or reimburse any costs incurred by you to return the items to us, including any shipping or insurance charges, unless the item is faulty.
How We Assess and Process Returns
All returns are subject to inspection and assessment by our Store team or Quality Assurance team. If our Store team is not able to carry out a proper assessment, your item may be sent for proper assessment by our Quality Assurance team, located at our Design Centre.
Returns and refunds will be made only subject to any applicable Consumer Law and Lumière Gems’ General Terms and Conditions of Purchase.
Any refund, repair or replacement (if and as applicable) will be made to you within a reasonable amount of time.
Lumière Gems will refund you in the same way that you initially paid for your purchase, except in the instance of cash payment refunds which may be made by cheque, direct credit or to a debit card in the name of the purchaser.
Change of Mind Policy
Lumière Gems does not accept ‘change of mind’ refunds.
Our Change of Mind Policy is in addition to, and in no way limits, your legal entitlement and existing rights under Australian Consumer Law.

Resizing
It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure they have measured and selected the appropriate size for their purchase. Resizing of our regular range items will be completed at the cost of the customer. Exchange of unworn rings may be permitted at our discretion, pending availability of replacement stock and must be completed within 14 days of delivery.
Custom designed items – If your custom ring is not the correct size, we provide one complimentary resize after purchase within 14 days of delivery. Please contact us at info@lumieregems.com.au to start this process. Any further resizing after the initial complimentary resizing will incur a fee starting at $80. (Pricing is dependent on the resize required and if rhodium plating is required for white gold rings).
